Valburga Streigle 95, of Delta died Sun., Aug. 6, 2006 at the Sigourney Care Center.

She was born Feb. 13, 1911, west of Hayesville, the daughter of John William and Lydia Fischer Ulin. She graduated from Sigourney High School in 1929, took Normal Training and taught at Doggett and White Oak country schools. She was married to John Clifford Streigle on Dec. 25, 1932 in Sigourney. They lived and farmed southwest of Delta. He died in April of 1969. She was united in marriage to Arthur Delbert Streigle on June 16, 1974 in Fairfield. They moved to Delta in 1982.

She is survived by a son, Leon; two daughters, Doris Dawson and Lois Stanley; 11 grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; also Delbert's sons, Marion and Dick Streigle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; grandsons, David and Lyle Streigle; great-grandson, Travis Herrick; and son-in-law, Doc Dawson.

Funeral services will be Aug. 10 at the Delta Christian Church with Rev. Jim Bringman officiating. Burial at Pennington cemetery near Sigourney.
