John Adams, 70, of Arizona City, Arizona, formerly of the Delta area, died Feb. 22, 1990 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 10, 1919, in Delta to Charlie and Connie Philips Adams. He married Mary Ellen Napierski.

He was a veteran of WW II having served with the Army Air Force. He farmed in the Delta area all of his life, retiring in 1976. He was a member of American Legion Post 319 of Keswick.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Stephen; three daughters, Joyce Ellen Dial, Nancy Sue Jacobs and Becky Louise Clingan; seven grandchildren and a sister, Mary Kitzman.

The body has been cremated and memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Garrett cemetery near Delta, Iowa.
