Donald Hill Stewart, 78, of What Cheer, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 1984 at the Ottumwa Hospital.

He was born January 22, 1906, at Newton, to Andrew and Alberta Schaffar Stewart.

Shortly after, the family moved to Rockwell City, where he graduated from Rockwell City High School in 1924, then from Drake University in 1928. He was affiliated with the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.

He married Elsie Molyneux in What Cheer, July 18, 1934.

He was an employee of Wage & Haw Division of Federal Government, Curtiss Wright Company and was a Realtor in Davenport for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie; a son, Andrew J. Stewart; a daughter, Donna Jean Wessel; four grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Stewart.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jean Carr.
