Lee W. Roland, 67, of Ballwin, Missouri, died Sept. 19, 1984 in a St. Louis hospital.

He was the son of Oscar J. Roland and Sadie (Roland) Martin. He was born in Buxton.

He was a Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Honorable Order of the Blue Goose International, an insurance organization, and a member of the Bonhomme Presbyterian church, Chesterfield, Missouri.

He graduated from What Cheer high school and resided in Des Moines for many years before moving to Overland Park and then to Ballwin, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Geneva M. Roland; two daughters, Mrs. Sheila Sigman and Mrs. Debra Wichlinski; a granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Gifford.

Services were held Sept. 21 at Dunn Chapel in Des Moines.

Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery, Des Moines, Iowa.
