Robert R. Reinert, 58, of rural Delta died Dec. 19, 1981 at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

He was born Sept. 27, 1923, in Delta to Roy M. and Blanche E. Dahlstrom Reinert. He was a life long Delta resident. He married Rozella J. Cline April 14, 1943, in Lancaster, Missouri. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1943 to 1946. He was a farmer and an auction salesclerk. He was a member of the Delta Christian church, Center Lodge AF & AM No. 575 in Delta, Universe of OES No. 105 at What Cheer and Clubb Shipley American Legion Post No. 485 in Delta.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter Pamela Sue Reinert; a son, Steven R. and his wife Darlene; a granddaughter, Stephanie Reinert; and his father. Preceding him in death were his mother and a granddaughter.

Services were held Dec. 23, at Delta Christian church with the Rev. George Mullins officiating. Burial was in Garrett cemetery.
