Wade Funeral At Richland

RICHLAND - Oma Cheeseman Wade, 78, Coral Gables, Fla., died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Park View Care Center in Fairfield after a lengthy illness.

Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 1:30 p.m. at the Gould Funeral Home in Richland with the Rev. Richard Layman in charge. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.

Oma Cheeseman Wade was born Nov. 10, 1895, at Rubio, the daughter of William and Isabell Fleig Cheeseman. She was married May 9, 1917, to Zeph S. Wade who died Nov. 30, 1969.

Mrs. Wade was a retired school teacher from the Miami, Fla., school system where they had made their home since January, 1925. The Wades had moved to Coral Gables in 1962.

Mrs. Wade is survived by one sister, Mrs. Homer L. Nordyke, and a foster brother, Floyd Smith, both of Richland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
