Death Takes Mrs. Smith

RICHLAND - Mrs. Beverly Jean Smith, 26, died Tuesday in a hospital in Denver, Colo., after a lengthy illness. She had visited here in the home of her foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dickinson just a week ago.

Mrs. Smith was the daughter of Max Bott and the late Esther Dickinson Bott. She was born in Richland and later moved to Arizona with her mother, brother and sister. She graduated from Pekin High School and married Larry Smith of Packwood. They had made their home near Evergreen Colo., Route 7, Box 573.

Beverly and her brother were raised in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dickinson after the death of their mother.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Stephanie, 6; a son, Christopher, 2; a brother, Mike Bott of Fairfield; a sister, Mrs. Barbara Davis of Colorado; her father of Texas; a grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Dickinson., and a number of other relatives.

The deceased was a member of Richland Friends Church. A memorial service will be held Friday in Evergreen, Colo. Memorials may be sent to the Leukemia Center, 601 Broadway, Denver, Colo., or to the Richland Friends Church.
