EDWARD W. BOEDING

Edward Wenzel Boeding, 77, of Sigourney died April 6 at Keokuk County Hospital in Sigourney. The retired farmer was a Deep River resident many years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Irene; three sons, Charles of Montezuma, Ronnie of Low Moor, and Roger of Reno, Nev.; two daughters, Betty Burdock of Ottumwa and Catherine Trimpe of Williamsburg. Also four brothers, Ollie of Lewiston, Neb., Conrad of Denver, Colo., Lambert of Corning, Kas. and Sylvester of Seneca, Kas.; three sisters, Tillie Buessing of Baileyville, Kas., Clara Droge of Topeka, Kas., Mary Kohake of Centralia, Kas.; 15 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Boeding was born Feb. 10, 1911, and died April 6. Services were April 9 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sigourney, with the Rev. Ernest E. Braida and the Rev. Thomas Mohr officiating. Organist was Mrs. Verla Van Dee.

Honorary casket bearers: Elvin Huffman, Vaughn White, Alvin Schuldt and Merle Gattan. Casket bearers were Floyd Hammet, Dennis Peiffer, Bradley Boeding, Larry Klein, Brian Burdock and Scott Boeding.

Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Sigourney.
