Verle Emil Clubb, 72, died Nov. 3 at the Keokuk County Hospital. He was born Nov. 14, 1932 to Carl and Edna Fixmer Clubb near Sigourney. He attended Van Buren country school and Sigourney High School.

On Sept. 6, 1952 he married Mildred "Jo" Arlene Morrow in Sigourney. He farmed in Keokuk County for many years and worked at Mich Coal Company in Oskaloosa. Later he had a vegetable farm in Delta. He loved fishing, hunting, working in his garden, visiting with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters Laura Clubb and Verla Clubb, two grandchildren, Jessie and Michael Follman.

Those left to mourn his passing are his wife "Jo",three children, Arlene and her husband Jim Linder; Derrel and his wife Mary Clubb; Carla and her husband Patrick Adams; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three sisters, Jean Ryman, Betty Conkity, Janelene Ingle; two brothers, Marvin Clubb and Gaylan Clubb.

Services were Nov. 7 at the Delta Christian Church with the Rev. James Bringman officiating.
Burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery, Sigourney.
