I looked at death certificates.

1/25/1954 Eddie J Brundidge (died in fire - invalid). Mother originally said "Unknown" but someone had written in, "Mary Mead". Father was Oliver. It gave Eddie's birth date as 5/12/1877. The informant was Rosie Brundidge. He is buried at Holy Cross. Bk 8 page 58

12/10/1955 John Edward Brundidge Father: Oliver and Mother: Hettie Stutzman born 5/12/1873. widower. Informant: Alberta Brundidge Bk 8 Page 67

I only found an obit for Eddie J Brundidge. He died 1/25/1954 4:30 pm. McNamara Funeral Home He was born 05/12/1874. married Rosa Jacobsen. Survived by brothers Edwin(his twin) and Fred both of Vinton, IA.

We used to have a copy of the McNamara Funeral Home Register. I could not find it today. I will look again the next time I am in Anamosa.
