Hi Jim. Thank you for answering my query.
He is listed as Edmund in the muster roll.
Then Edward in notes for the compilation
for the book concerning Pa Volunteers.
("History of Pennsylvania Volunteers-
1861-66" Samuel P. Bates-1892.)
Also Edward in the pension index at the
National Archives. On the card it states
he died 10 Feb 1917 Olin,Iowa. Maybe he
was passing through when he died. Some
died on trains. Oh well, back to the
records. Thanks again.
