Jim..thank you so much! My grandmother always wanted her name pronounced "Burnis" not Bernice..so this is when it began...long ago!! I found it very interesting that she puts her mother as born in VT. Her natural mother WAS born in Vermont. Yet at age 19, when she marries, she puts Katie Kelsey as her mother. How I wonder what was taking place in that family..what family dynamics! wow.
