I see both William and Electa still living for the 1895 census but both are advanced in age... William 87 and Electa 78, both living with son George B. Graves in Fairview.

The Marriage of son Lafayette Graves to Lottie Hunter says that Electa's maiden name was Strate.

In the 1900 census Electa is living with son Lafayette (listed as Lafe) and shows she was born August 1821 in NY and widowed and still in Fairview. But this means she is still age 78 like in the 1895 census but...

In 1910 census she is back with son George and her age jumped by 4 years - age 92 and now Anamosa. This means she was born between August 1816-1817.

Looks as though they are buried at the Forest Hill Cemetery - the death date is obviously incorrect for William but says 1810-1995 (1895)and Electa is there listed as Lecta with no dates shown - both in the Old 59 section and some of their children there too.

We will assume, as you have, that Electa died between 1910-1920 and someone needs to look at the death records in Jones County for both :-)
