Eliza Taylor/ Joe Taylor lived in Rome Twp, Jones County, iowa in 1893.Had 4 children, George, Sarah,Frank and Albert. Need help!
I can not find anything about these two, other than in 1893 Jones County supervisors were trying to get the children put into Iowa Children s Home Society,I have minutes from Jones County. Eliza and 4 children were put into the Jones County Poor Farm because Joe had deserted them 6 mo, prior to Sept. 13, 1893. Eliza died Nov. 1st giving birth to Lola on Oct. 17, 1893, Where did SHE DIE AT AND where did they take her? Lola died a month later at the Children s Home.She went to oakdale cemetery What was her maiden name? Where did Joe and Eliza live in Rome? Nothing on this man?? I am stuck! Was Eliza her real name? That is what they listed her as in the Poor Farm Book of inmates. Thank You for any help you can lend.
