On a recent trip to Cane Ridge, KY, I found some historical information concerning your Ireland and possibly my Mitchell families.

David Purviance's information was there, as well as, Israel Mitchell's pamphlet [son of Moses Mitchell].

Elijah Mitchell and Sarah Ireland [your Ireland] seemed to have been there as well.

I am trying to connect Elijah Mitchell and Sarah Ireland to my George W. Mitchell and Sarah Little.
My Ireland [James Wood Ireland] family must have had family ties to your Ireland family because they are buried near each other in the Olin Cemetery and the only common name seems to be Mitchell.

It is also reported that the Rev. Hughes was a part of the Stone/Campbell Movement. Sadie Hughes Coppess was I believe a part of this Hughes family.
