Anna's parents were Hans and Catherine Ahrendsen. Han's obit (1835-1914) says he married Catherina Hans in May 1867 in Germany. They were the parents of 8 children. Catherine (1841-1917) obituary says they had 8 children, 2 who passed away before her- 2 infants. Both are buried in Mayflower Cemetery, Oxford Jct.
