I am seeking death and burial information for SARAH REBECCA GRAFFT ARMOUR. So far I have checked Find A Grave, Ancestry.com, Jones County newspapers, and various online records for western Iowa counties. The search may be complicated by the variations of spellings of her married name.
She was the last known child of John Pottinger GRAFFT and Mary GRAY, born in 1845; married JAMES W. ARMOUR July 30, 1863 in Cedar County, Iowa; last census for her was in 1885 living in Elkhorn Township, Plymouth County, IA with her husband and 8 kids ranging in age from 17-0; her husband apparently married again January 11, 1890 at Cherokee, Iowa. I have assumed she died after the 1885 census record and before his marriage as no other records of her have been found.
Any tips on where to look would be greatly appreciated.
