Lillian's obituary, (The Monticello Express, April 23, 1959, states she is the daughter of William Quant and Jane Lockwood Quant, born June 6, 1885, married Benjamin J Harms, September 12, 1906, and died April 21, 1959. It also states she was raised by Mr. And Mrs. George Preston.

Lillian's mother died November 28, 1887.
