Missing Thompson - Please Help...

It seems That I have pretty much exhausted all available sources and people trying to find where this one Thompson who was married to a Wolfe is buried!

William E. Thompson, died June 5, 1939 in Monticello. His obit says he was buried in a family plot at Cascade but the record holder of those cemeteries says there are no Thompson's buried there. I find that odd with such a common name? Maybe it was a transcription rather than burial records? His wife Emily "Emma" Wolfe is buried in Cascade Prot. Cemetery but doesn't have a last name listed - just says "daughter of ... Wolfe" and is buried with a single headstone in a Parrott plot which I also find odd. Those Cascade records have her listed under maiden name Wolfe probably due to the vague headstone.

Does ANYONE have a clue where he is buried?
