Ireland-Voorhies earlier questions

In reviewing older queries, I came across those regarding Samuel Niles and Deborah Ireland Voorhies. If anyone is still interested, I have info on S. N. and his death at Marion and his whereabouts most of the time.
The question regarding the family moving to CA is still unresolved, but it looks likely that they did for awhile; their eldest daughter married there in 1875, a date near the birth of George in 1874. There is also a Civil War pension record for S. N. with a San Francisco office stamp on it and dated May, 1877; I doubt that all Iowa C. W. pensions went through this office.
As for Hattie's burial site, I have not found it but today I came across an obit index for Hattie Voorhies at the Musser Library in Muscatine; the death date given was 10 March 1945. The 1940 Census shows her as divorced and living with her daughter in Muscatine County.
