"The Cedar Rapids Gazette" dated Sunday, March 12, 1950, Section Three, featured Mrs. Wayne Yager with photos. The caption reads:
"Honorary cadet lieutenant colonel at Coe in 1924 was Mrs. Wayne Yager, the former Marguerite Starry, pictured as she appeared in the college yearbook, and as she is now. Her parents, the Wilbur Starrys, lived in Olin, where she taught school for two years."
