Robert MCGINTY m. Mary CLARK 06 Apr 1854, Jones County IA

Per the "History of Cascade, IA 1906 Atlas" The McGinty-Clark murder and suicde occurred near Cascade in 1855. Would like information from newspapers, police or death records for 1855 for McGinty and Clark.

Looking for information on Robert MCGINTY and Mary CLARK-MCGINTY. Robert was listed in 1850 Census for Dubuque County and not listed for 1860.

Looking for burial of mother Sarah MCGINTY b. 1803, listed in 1850 Census and not found in 1860 census.

This information is updated since our last posting.

Would also like to know if there is a relationship with the David MCGINTY family listed in the Jones County 1852 County Census.
