dau. of Elizabeth Sterling Perry d 10/26/1931 in Anamosa
Her family moved from NC to WV in 1843 and then by covered wagon in 1855 to IL
She married Joseph Reed 8/28/1856. He died of Typhoid in the Civil War.
She married John E Chopper 6/16/1870.
Her children:
Juliette (Mrs. E E Boots of Monticello)
Lucinda (Hilton of L. A.)
Melvin Reed of Ainsworth, NE
Elizabeth Reed of Chicago
Mary A Chopper (Washburn of Anamosa & Stone City)
Rose Adell Chopper
John Ellsworth Chopper of Anamosa
2 died in infancy
stepdaughter: Julia Newlin/Newland of Viola
Israel F. Chopper and Thos J Chopper left the area before 1904 when Mr. Chopper died.
Her father's sister, Mrs Alice Kelser of Clear Lake, IA survives
Mrs. Chopper was buried in Cass Cem., Jones Co, IA
