Regarding Brashier:

Below is excerpted from the 1856 Iowa State Census for Clay Township, Jones County, Iowa on the Jones County website.

I speculate that Sarah Brazier, is the sister of Juliette and Sarah and Juliette are children of Tomas and Sarah Taylor. Perhaps, Juliette married her sister's widower after 1884.
