I am looking for information on the William and Catherine Smith family of Jackson twp. It is believed that the family migrated from Scotland to Jones County either in the late 1850's or early 1860's. It is known that they brought at least two of their children with them, Margaret and David.
William was a farmer. He died in 1898 and is buried at Four Horn Cemetery. His wife Catherine died some time ofter 1900.

Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
