From the various online sources, I have demised that Hugh was born in 1804 in Ohio and died in Denver, CO 1869. Asa C. Bowen was born 1827 and died in 1886.

I was wondering how the two were related. I am guessing that Asa was a nephew to Hugh but would like a more decisive answer.

Also, I had gathered that Hugh was a bachelor all of his life. He was living with the Alfred Brazelton family during the 1850 census and left the area by 1856.
