Thanks for replying the reason I thought there might be a connection is John Rooney no known birth date was raised my my great great grandmother Ann DeLong in Nebraska John married Rose DeLong in Nebraska then I lost them they had 4 kids the fifth died during childbirth. lost John and the rest of the kids kids were Gladys, Orville Eva and John Jr. family says Jhn died 1937 unknown place and Rose died 1918 cannot find the kids yet either. Now Rose was born in 1898 so probably John born before that.
Just a little more information on my John. I know Ann Scott lived in Iowa, Missouri and Nebr. but cannot find John Rooney in any census guess he was a orphan.
