One site shows her maiden name is STRAIGHT. Maybe that will help locate some information? Not having much luck so far on my end.

The Bio for J.P. Scroggs (Joseph Porter Scroggs 1840-1923)shows that Eliza J. Graves (1842-1896), daughter of William and Electa married 1865 (April 2, 1865) to Scroggs and that the Graves moved to Jones County 1860 from New York.
