I am looking for anything on Joseph Newton he came to america from Bohemia when he was 6 yrs old (was born in 1857)(would really like to know if there is any info on who his parents were their name was changed from Novotna/Novotny to Newton) He married Caroline Holub in 1882 in prarieburg,IA
not sure when but they moved to Anamosa and resided at 205 South Jones ST. they had 15 children tog ...Caroline,Frank,Mary or Mayme,John or Jack,William,Katherine,Louis,George,Anna,Harry,
Leo,Sylvia,Eleanor,Vera and Helen. Don't know when they divoriced somewhere before 1915 but Caroline died in 1920 and buried in prarieburg cem. After the divorice he maried Tina Asmus on 3/29/1915 in Anamosa,IA they had a daughter Edna.
Joe died 11/26/1924 and Tina Asmus died in 1940 at Iowa City Hosp. Any info on this would be helpful.Thanks
