Funeral services for Delbert Christian Fisher, 67, were held at the Olin United Methodist church May 28 with the Rev. Edward Peterson officiating. Burial was in the Olin cemetery. Pallbearers were Terry Fisher, Lynn Hansen, Larry Erickson, Garen Lorenzen, Wes Vondracek and Randy Stolte. Mr. Fisher died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, May 24.

The son of John and Eva Burris Fisher, he was born west of Olin July 14, 1916. He graduated from Olin high school in 1935.

He was married to Lois Lorenzen in Olin Dec. 4, 1938. The couple farmed southeast of Olin until health problems forced early retirement in 1975.

He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters, Mrs. James (Connie) Goldsberry, Solon; Mrs. Allen (Becky) Ahrens, Mt. Vernon and Mrs. James (Kathy) Schumacher, Cedar Rapids; 7 grandchildren and 3 brothers, Marvin, Olin; Eldon, Stanwood and Kenneth, Colorado Springs, Colo. He was preceded in death by an infant brother.
