OXFORD JUNCTION - Mrs. Mary Balichek, 78, Oxford Junction, died Thursday, July 15, 1971, after a brief illness.

Born Mary Buresh November 22, 1892, near Oxford Junction, she was the daughter of George and Anna Barto Buresh. September 27, 1911, she was married to Joe Balichek, jr. They farmed near Oxford Junction, and she continued living on the farm after his death.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Mildred) Kuehl and Shirley Balichek, both of Oxford Junction; two brothers, Albert, Monticello, and Fred, Oxford Junction; and a sister, Julia Zaruba, Oxford Junction. She is also survived by three granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 17, at Hayden's Funeral home at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Raymond Booth officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Louis Hayden, organist, and Mrs. Otto Koranda and Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen, vocalists.

Interment was at Mayflower cemetery, Oxford Junction. Pallbearers were James Clapp, Howard Barto, John Zamistil, Joe Larkey, Richard Erickson and DeWayne Shedeck.
