ONSLOW - Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Mae Streeper, 84, were held Sunday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. at Onslow Presbyterian church, with Rev. Lyle Meester officiating.

Mrs. Streeper passed away Feb. 4 at her home in Monticello. She was a former Onslow resident.

Born northeast of Onslow June 19, 1886, she was the daughter of James and Jennie Edwards Hamilton. She attended rural school at Frozen Hill, Clay township.

She married LeRoy Streeper Feb. 26, 1913, at Onslow. They farmed in Jones County until 1952. She has lived the last several years in Monticello.

Surviving are two sons, Elmer, Center Junction; Walter, Monticello. three daughters, Mrs. Lois Eby, Center Junction; Mrs. Clarence (Wilma) Prull, Monticello; and Mrs. James (Dorothy) Otten, Scotch.

Also two brothers, Max Hamiton, Anamosa; Ted Hamilton, Maquoketa; and one sister, Mrs. Mildred Harms, Onslow; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, two sisters and one brother. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.
