SCOTCH GROVE - Funeral services for Harry H. Kuhns, 73, a lifetime resident of Scotch Grove, were held Feb. 1 at the Wayne Zion Lutheran church at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Harvey O. Gilbertson was officiating clergyman. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Kuhns died suddenly Jan. 29 from an apparent heart attack.

Harry Hayen Kuhns, son of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Kuhns, was born in Scotch Grove Oct. 29, 1892, and lived his entire life here. On May 26, 1915, he married Johanna Harms. Mrs. Kuhns died March 25, 1966. He was also preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include Mrs. Cecil (Eloise) McKinstry, Alameda, Calif.; LaVerna W., Scotch Grove; nine grandchildren and two great greatchildren.

Casket bearers were Kermit Kuhns, Galen Kuhns, Phillip Owen, Renk Eilers, Dean McDonald and Herny J. Husmann.
