CENTER JUNCTION - Mrs. Frank (Myrtle) Himebaugh, 81, Center Junction, died Sunday, Aug. 2, at the Johnson Nursing home, Monticello.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 5, at the First Presbyterian church, Center Junction. Rev. Ted Neely conducted the service. Mrs. Leslie Balster was organist. Interment was in the North Madison cemetery.

Pallbearers included Merle Husmann, Jack Stingley, Leonard Serbousek, Phil Himebaugh, Ralph Paulsen, Joe Mead, John Gray and Robert Gray.

She was born Dec. 4, 1889, daughter of James F. and Susan May Livingstone, Center Junction. She graduated from the Center Junction high school and the Cedar Rapids Business college. She spent her entire life in Cedar Junction. She was commissioned postmistress on March 1, 1912 and held that position until Dec. 31, 1954.

She was married to Frank Himebaugh on March 2, 1924. She was a member of the Center Junction Presbyterian church, a charter member of the Federated Women's club, and a member of the '54 Garden club.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; a daughter, Helen, Mrs. Walter Seiler, Mount Vernon; and three grandsons, Michael, Guam; Stuart and Brian, Mount Vernon.
