MAQUOKETA - Mrs. Edna Faye Huggans, 65, died Sunday evening, June 21, at Anamosa Community hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 24, at 1:30 p.m. at the Haylock and O'Hara Funeral home, Maquoketa. Rev. Jerry Wolcott conducted the service. Burial was in the Buckhorn cemetery.

She was born May 13, 1905, at Wyoming, daughter of Howard and Mary E. Fox Brutsman. She attended college for two years at Cedar Falls and taught in the rural schools in Jones county several years prior to her marriage.

On Dec. 30, 1931, she was married to Charles Huggans at Cedar Rapids, where she made her home until 11 years ago she moved to Maquoketa following the death of her husband. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors lodge of Baldwin, also a member of the Merry Knitters group.

Survivors include three sisters, Pearl, Mrs. B. L. Hummell, Kellogg; Hazel, Mrs. Elmer Storm, Wyoming; Lila, Mrs. William Thompson, Center Junction; also a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters.
