Funeral service for Mrs. Anna Edwards, 63, was conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Goettsch funeral home, Anamosa. Mrs. Edwards died early Monday morning, Oct. 18, at Mercy hospital, Anamosa.

Rev. H. A. James officiated with burial in Riverside cemetery. Casket bearers were George, Howard, Robert, Arch and Gale Edwards and Stuart Eisentrager.

Mrs. Anna Barbara Edwards, daughter of Herman and Alberta Eisentrager, was born June 28, 1891, at Clear Lake. Aug. 10, 1912, she was married to Jerome Patterson Edwards at Onslow.

Following their marriage the couple resided on a farm near Onslow, later moving to Canada and South Dakota. Family returned to Iowa in 1920. For the last number of years Mrs. Edwards had lived in this community.

Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her father, two children who died in infancy, a son, Rex Orville, killed in Italy in 1944, and her husband J. P. "Pat" Edwards, who died Nov. 29, 1953.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Jensen, Anamosa, three sons, Neil and Clarence, Anamosa, and Bernard, Monticello, her mother, Mrs. Alberta Eisentrager, Boulder, Colo., a brother, Albert, in Minnesota; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Breed, Oregon, and Mrs. Daisy Tobrey, Boulder, Colo., and 14 grandchildren.
