OXFORD JUNCTION - Mrs. Katie Vozenilek, 85, died Monday morning, Aug. 2, at the hospital at Independence, where she had been for the last three months. Body was brought to the Hayden funeral home, where the funeral was held Thursday, Aug. 5, at 1:30 p.m.

Rev. Kenneth Harden of the Methodist church was in charge of the service. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Vozenilek was born at Vedovec, Bohemia, 1869. She came to the United States when she was 18 years old. In May 10, 1887, she was married to George Vozenilek, who died in 1928. She had been living for the last four years at the Nursing home in Oxford Junction.

She had no children. Only nieces and nephews and friends survive.
