OLIN - Mrs. Florence Jeannette Cook, 64, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 29 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Otha McDonald, in Washington. She had been ill for several months.

Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at the Methodist church in Olin.

Florence Jeannette Daub was born Feb. 23, 1889, near Crawfordsville. She was the daughter of Joseph Daub and Martha Taylor. Her family moved to Afton, when she was a small child and she lived there until her marriage.

She was married Feb. 6, 1918, to John A. Cook, Olin. He died in January, 1928.

Mrs. Cook had lived in Washington for four years. She was a member of the Legion auxiliary at Olin.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. McDonald, Washington; a son, Allen, Tipton; seven grandchildren, and nine brothers and sisters, Richard, Mt. Ayr; Mrs. Ethel Hill, Creston; Mrs. Ada Sheesley, Pleasantville; Amos, Creston; Mrs. Nora Jones, Mrs. Pearl Kluht and Mrs. Mildred Bierce, all of Murray; Ira, Morely, and John, Anamosa.

One brother and one sister are deceased.
