Mr. and Mrs. George Fishwild, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Eichhorn, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Eichhorn and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Eichhorn attended funeral service for R. J. Dieckman at DeWitt, Monday afternoon.

R. J. Deickman, 61, died Friday at Mercy hospital, Clinton, where he had been a patient for six days. He had been in ill health for six months. Mr. Dieckman was born May 9, 1882 in Germany. He married Hattie Eichhorn, Wyoming, June 14, 1916, who survives. He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Dieckman, Miss Augusta Dieckman, Welton, and Mrs. Garrett Doden, Clinton, and two brother, George, DeWitt, and Arthur, Calamus.
