OXFORD JUNCTION - Emil Vochoska, 48, was found dead at his farm home south of Oxford Junction last Wednesday, July 7. He died Tuesday, July 6 at 6 p.m. of a coronary occlusion.

Funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 9, at the Hayden funeral home. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mr. Vochoska was born in Oxford Junction June 28, 1906, the son of Joe and Josephine Vochoska. He attended local schools.

Survivors include his aged mother, Mrs. Josephine Vochoska, Oxford Junction; five sisters, Mrs. Tillie Huston and Miss Bessie Vochoska, Oxford Junction; Mrs. Edith Brinker, Maquoketa; Mrs. Mildred Staehle and Miss Blanche Vochaska, Cedar Rapids.

Three brothers also survive. They are: Otto, Riverside, Ed, Clinton and Frank, at home.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Joseph, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Schmidt.

Casketbearers included Raymond Sobotka, Robert Benhart, Fred Koranda, Keith Connor, Ed Bicknese and Fred Benhart.
