WYOMING - Funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at the Wallace funeral home for Albert K. Schoff, 81, who died unexpectedly Monday morning, June 14.

Burial was at the Pithan cemetery northeast of Lost Nation. Casketbearers were Henry, Irvin and Wilbur Pithan, Roland Penningroth, Ed Ruggeberg and Orban Schoff.

Mr. Schoff was born northeast of Lost Nation Sept. 20, 1872, the son of the late Fredrick and Minnie Schoff. He was baptized and confirmed in the Bethlehem Lutheran church, Lost Nation.

Nov. 20, 1894, he was married to Ann Schaen. In March 1914 they moved to South Dakota, returning to Iowa and moving to Wyoming in 1922.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Lorenz, Pico, Calif.; and Walter, Sioux Falls, S. Dak.; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Five sisters also survive. They are: Emma Moehl, Dubuque; Louise Haak, Minnie Schoff and Tillie Schoff, all of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Rose Kupherschmidt, Dubuque.

His parents, one brother and three sisters have preceded him in death.
