Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon from the Evangelical and Reformed church for Mrs. Sam Bronemann, who passed away at her home Saturday noon following an illness of many months duration. The Rev. John F. Baumann, assisted by Rev. H. F. Morrow, officiated at the services with burial in the Oakwood cemetery.

Born near Monticello, May 27, 1888, Mrs. Bronemann was the daughter of Samuel Sulzner and Magdaline Gehret Sulzner. She was married to Sam L. Bronemann of Monticello, May 20, 1907 and they made their home in the Buck Creek area until their retirement, when they moved to their present home in Monticello.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Sam, one daughter, Mrs. William Beitz, Hopkinton; 3 sons, Donald, Rollie and Loren, all of Monticello. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Ben Sulzner of Olin and Sam Sulzner of Bellevue; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ralph Crimm of Monticello, Mrs. Clarence Orcutt of Earlville and Mary Ammeter of Manchester.

Pallbearers included Robert Appleby, Raymond Orcutt, Clarence Meyer, Paul Meyer, Allen Kaufman and Fred Kaufman.
