Shirley Ann Meisner, age 85, of rural Anamosa, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, August 22, 2022 after a brief illness. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, 5:00-7:00pm, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom. Funeral service on Thursday, August 25, 2022, 1:00pm, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Interment at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Shirley was the youngest child of Marcel and Carrie (Krieg) Perrinjaquet, born on May 22, 1937 in Edgewood, IA. She married Walt Tegen in 1959 in California. Walt died in 1969. She then married William (Bill) Meisner on June 19, 1971 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; 2 daughters, Lori (Ron) Chupp and Kari Otis (Mark Jordon); step-children, Lou Ann (Ron) Dirks, Tom Meisner, and Sue (Billy) Butler. Also surviving are her numerous grandchildren and 1 sister, Ginny Waco of Pacific Palisades, California.

Shirley will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Memorial donations in Shirley’s name may be directed to the American Cancer Society or The Cedar Valley Humane Society.
