Henry G. Heeren, 40, Anamosa, died at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, Saturday, Jan. 23, after a lingering illness. Mr. Heeren farmed in Cass township.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Goettsch funeral home with Rev. H. E. Hahn, officiating. Burial will be in Wayne cemetery.

Private prayer service for the immediate family will be held at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m.

Mr. Heeren was born Oct. 13, 1913. He spent all his married life farming in Cass township.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Heeren, Anamosa; his wife, Gail; one son, Verlin, at home; a step-son, Harvey Oswald, and a step-daughter, Janice Oswald; and a brother Earl, Mt. Vernon.
