Harry Lee Jamison, 64, Anamosa, died at John McDonald hospital, Monticello, Friday, Jan. 1, after a long illness.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, in the Goettsch funeral home, Anamosa, with Rev. C. L. Windsor officiating.

Burial was in Green cemetery. Serving as casket bearers were Harlan Tallman, Virgil Tallman, Richard Grafft, William Carlson, Ivan Duncan and Richard Smith.

Son of Frank V. and Carrie B. Reside Jamison, he was born near Anamosa, Aug. 20, 1889.

Mr. Jamison farmed until three years ago, when failing health caused him to retire.

Sept. 21, 1910, he was married to Frances Fisher, daughter of J. F. and Mary Fisher, Olin.

Five children were born to the union. They are: Mrs. Carleton (Alice) Armstrong, Stanwood; Mary, wife of the late Kenneth Jones, Springville; Noel F., near Mt. Vernon; Marion R., near Marion; Mrs. Thomas (Amy Willa) Frasher, near Anamosa.

Eleven grandchildren also survive. Two grandchildren preceded him in death.
