Fred Fahrni Died In
Dubuque Sanatorium

Funeral services were held at the Evangelical and Reformed Church for Fred Fahrni, Jr., 34, at 2 o’clock last Tuesday. Mr. Fahrni had been taken to Sunnycrest Sanatorium in Dubuque a short time before to receive treatment for tuberculosis. He had been suffering with this disease for some months. His body was laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mr. Fahrni was born in Monticello, the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fahrni. In 1929 he was married to Miss Irene Deal of Seneca, S. D. Two children were born to them, Mary Irene and Robert Earl.
In addition to his widow and children, Mr. Fahrni is survived by his father and by one sister, Mrs. Tobe Caspers, living near Monticello.
