WYOMING - Service for John Devore, 68, was held in the Harrington Funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday. A Christian Science reader was in charge of rites for Mr. Devore, who died Wednesday, April 19, after a brief illness. Burial was in the South Mineral cemetery.

Mr. Devore was born in Kansas, Oct. 4, 1881. After his marriage to Miss Eva Scripture, Wyoming, they resided on farms in this vicinity. He was employed on the Thomas Caraway farm, six miles north of Wyoming at the time of his death in Mercy hospital, Anamosa.

Survivors are his wife, two sons, Jimmy and Jack and a sister, Mrs. Belle Day of Canton, Ill.
