Word was received here Friday by Frank Hodoval of the death of his aunt, Mrs. Mary Schwab, 84, at her home in Grinnell. Funeral service was held there Monday afternoon.

The deceased had been well known in Oxford Junction. She was born Mary Hodoval and lived her early life here where she was a school teacher. She was united in marriage to John Schwab and they farmed for a number of years on what is known as the Schwab farm two miles north of Oxford Junction, now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Hans Petersen. She is survived by a daughter and four sons, living in the Grinnell vicinity.
