MONTICELLO - Mrs. Frank Ireland, formerly of Anamosa, died at the home of her son, Lee, here Tuesday. Service was held this Thursday at Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Interment was in Antioch cemetery. Rev. Barney C. Crockett, Anamosa Congregational minister, was in charge.

Ada Mary Merrill was born in Jones county Nov. 22, 1864, the daughter of Isaac and Caroline Annis Merrill. She spent her entire life in Jones county.

On Jan. 1, 1887, she was married to Frank Ireland. They farmed near Anamosa, later moving to Anamosa. Mr. Ireland died Dec. 17, 1937. For the last few years, Mrs. Ireland has made her home with her only son.

Other survivors are three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Herman Schladetzky, Bellevue; Mrs. George Voorhies, Center Junction, Mrs. D. S. Allison, Cedar Rapids; and two brothers, John and Frank Merrill, both of Anamosa.
