CENTER JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Harold Mead, 60, were held May 24 at Hayden funeral home, Wyoming. The Rev. John Beran, Center Jct., officiated. Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Mrs. Mead died of an apparent heart attack after attending wrestling matches in Cedar Rapids.

Esther Lucille Luke, daughter of Joseph Luke and Augusta Schmidt was born June 21, 1906, in Wyoming. She graduated from high school in Cedar Rapids in 1925 and attended business college.

She was married to Harold Mead of Center Jct., Oct. 22, 1947, at Kansas City, Mo. They had lived their married life at Center Jct.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of Center Jct., and one brother, Harold Luke of Wyoming.

Pallbearers were Albert Buresh, Jr., Dwayne Darrow, Leonard Serbousek, Myron Mead, James Otten and David Norton.
